Custom Sneakers for Lost Farm by Kiva: Blue Dreams Made Reality

Custom Sneakers for Lost Farm by Kiva: Blue Dreams Made Reality

Some projects are just pure inspired fun all the way through, and this collaboration was definitely one of them!

When Lost Farm by Kiva reached out for a custom sneaker inspired by the flower strain Blue Dream, I was instantly ready to jump in! Not only were they just as pumped to work with me as I them, they were more than thrilled to let me take the creative reigns (which is an artist’s favorite thing to hear.) Just the name Blue Dream already gives you a whole vibe with plenty of room to, well, dream!

Painting A Celestial Vibe

With the creative direction wide open, I decided to lean into the celestial-meets-tropical energy that Blue Dream provides. A strain known for it’s breezy, uplifting euphoric feel, I envisioned a serene beach scene floating somewhere between dreams and reality- a place where everything feels little more mellow, colorful, and just vibey.

The final design features:

  • Mellow tucans chilling on blueberry branches (a nod to the strain’s flavor notes)
  • Hazy blues and berry purples layered throughout
  • A celestial beach backdrop among twinkling stars and lazy clouds of smoke

The whole piece truly feels like a lucid dream, one that smells faintly of blueberries and ocean waves crashing in slow motion.

The Best Part? A Giveaway

Once the pair was complete, we posted the creation process video to our Instagram pages as part of a giveaway with Lost Farm for their Summer of Strains project. One lucky winner gets to take home this dreamy custom sneaker, an actual piece of wearable art  inspired by one of the most iconic flower strains ever. It was the perfect way to celebrate creativity, community, and a growing plant culture.

Why This Project Was So Special

What made this collaboration so refreshing wasn’t just the unique concept or the fun giveaway. It was the freedom I was given to fully explore an idea and let my imagination run. When a brand is excited to work with you and respects your craft, it shows. Lost Farm didn’t just want a custom; they wanted a story, and they trusted me to tell it in my own voice. When a brand truly respects the craft and brings that same passion to the table, it makes all the difference. That mutual respect is what made this project special to me, and why it’s one I’ll always love.
